About me

Hi! My name is Mayte Guasch, and this is the story of how Fitz & Willow came to be. In 2022, I lost my job as an accountant after 17 years. This job was perfect for me as it allowed me to work from home and organize my schedule around my two boys. Losing my job was devastating, to say the least, and for a while, I felt quite lost. I searched for a new job that would accommodate my family life, but unfortunately, I couldn't find one. That's when I began to explore the idea of starting my own business. Being a mom is my top priority, but I also crave challenge (and the financial stability to pay the bills!). I have a deep love for animals, nature, and wildlife, and I am passionate about living a sustainable lifestyle. I knew I wanted to create something that aligned with these values. Additionally, I have a great passion for design. So, I combined all of these elements and gave birth to Fitz & Willow, my "other" baby.
