About Me

Hi there!

Hi there! My name is Mayte Guasch and this is how it all began. I was born in a small village, in a forgotten province of the north-east part of Spain. I grew up in my grandparents old farmhouse surrounded by fields and animals. This is how my love for nature and anwas born.

At 18 I moved to Barcelona to study Economics. Shortly after finishing my degree I met my adventurous husband and together we backpacked through some parts of our gorgeous planet and lived and worked as volunteers for two years in Africa. Those were some of the happiest years of my life. We had so little and yet we had it all. We would probably still be living there but, without planning it, a new path started for us, a long one. We lost our pregnancy so decided to return to Spain to pursue the long road to much wanted parenthood.

Recently I lost my job so I decided to turn adversity into the beginning of a new adventure.

I have many passions in life: family, travel, nature, animals, design,.. So I mixed all the ingredients together and this is how Fitz & Willow was born. I hope you can find in these collections what you are looking for. They are thought for all the pet lovers, for the awesome parents, for nature, to remind us of what matters, to encourage a positive way of thinking…

My goal it is to allocate a portion of the profits to sponsor different projects around the world. My first one would be protecting the Mountain Gorillas in Uganda, since tracking  and watching  them in their natural habitat was one of the most impacting experiences I’ve ever had. 

All the clothes collections you will find on my store are manufactured with organic cotton and recycled materials, respectful to the environment & ethical to human labour. There are so many beautiful places left in our magnificent planet, so many species to protect! All together we can preserve and improve what we still have, because every bit counts. For a healthier planet & healthier us.
